How did it all start?

Border Counties Vintage Club was 31 years old this year.  It all started when a small band of enthusiasts met at the Crown Hotel, Whitchurch to form a vintage club to foster interest in vintage vehicles and machinery.

In the early years the shows were held at fields in Whitchurch until more space was needed and it moved to Speech House, Forest of Dean. For the 30th Anniversary show in 2005, the club realised that once again it would need a larger venue, which is when it relocated to it's current home at Vauxhall Fields Monmouth.
