A brief overview

A three day festival of folk music and dance based in the town of Chepstow.

A fully equipped campsite for 2500 people at the Chepstow racecourse.

A shuttle bus service to and from the racecourse

Friday and Saturday

Simultaneous concerts with leading folk artists at other venues across the town, and ceilidh.


High Street closure, 300 morris dancers at six sites across the town, street market, craft fair, music and craft workshops, river trips, local area produced food festival, beer festival, folk musicians at the town gate and various indoor venues.


Riverbank morris parade and dancing folk music on the bandstand and various other indoor venues, family fun day, river trips etc.

Chepstow Acoustic Music Club meets every fortnight at The Chepstow Castle Pub on Bridge Street. Non members welcome. £2.50 on the door. Come along and listen to some great kive music, if you play or sing you are welcome to perform. Real ale and pub food. From Friday 23rd October 2009. Folk, Blues, Roots.
