Support and Involvement

Local residents can become involved in the work of the Wye Valley AONB unit by volunteering for conservation tasks like drystone walling, helping out with wildlife and landscape surveys, leading walks or acting as back-markers for walks. We also welcome volunteers who prefer to lend a hand in the office or deliver publications.

Equally, AONB staff support local community projects in the AONB. This includes giving advice on sources of funding.
