'Overlooking the Wye' Heritage Weekend
at Goodrich Castle

September 13th and 14th, 10am-5pm

English Heritage will be host to a fun-filled family weekend at Goodrich Castle. Come along to enjoy events including the Rock and Fossil Show, storytelling, shield making, coracles and much more.
The event will feature partners in the Overlooking the Wye projects including the RSPB, Forestry Commission, Woodland Trust and County Archaeology services.

There will be guided walks around the castle and refreshments plus a hog roast in the castle grounds.

Judging underway for the 2008 winner

Successful farms have now been shortlisted and final judging is underway. All shortlisted farms are being visited by the panel of judges during August . The decision will be announced at the Mounmouthshire Show on Thursday 28th August in the Countryside Arena at 10.30am The winner will be presented with a cheque for £500
