Wye Valley Walk Open Again

Chepstow - Upper Wyndcliff

The popular long distance Wye Valley Walk has been undergoing an extensive facelift through the Overlooking the Wye Partnership Scheme .Several famous viewpoints have been refurbished and restored during 2009. This work caused a substantial diversion at the beginning of the walk at Chepstow which are in the process of being removed. The Wye Valley Walk Piercefield stretch will be officially launched on Tuesday March 16. Pictured below is the view from Giant's Cave and the restored railings

Savour the Wye has now ceased publication. At the AONB Unit we felt that new initiatives for local food were doing such a good job that our publication was unnecessary .
