RURAL CRAFT EXPERIENCES
We organise drystone walling,basket weaving, hedgelaying and other courses throughout 2009
Limited places are now available on new stone walling course in May. The course is being run by Chris Hodges ( see him as filmed by Mon TV )
The two day course will cost £40 and will be taking place in the Brockweir areaon the 16th and 17th May.

ARTS in the WYE
The Wye Valley has a thriving artistic community and has a unique arts heritage as the area where the Picturesque movement originated
www.forest-bigartweb.net is an artists led project represents creative people within the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. It also produces The Forest & Wye Big Art Guide
Throughout 2009 : Art in the Cafe, Brockweir Village Shop
Paintings and photographs by local artists at the Brockweir community-run Village Shop. A good stop off point for a cup of tea or lunch on walks in the St Briavels, Brockweir and Hewelsfield areas.

Countryside events in the AONB
- Many of the events and activities organised by Monmouthshire Countryside Service are in the AONB, and there is a varied programme of activities at Tintern Old Station.
- The Herefordshire Walking Festival includes guided walks within the AONB.
- Organised events are sometimes held in the Forestry Commission woodlands in the area.
- Forest of Dean Tour
