FARMING AWARDS
It is Farming Award time again and Wye Valley AONB staff are out and about doing the first visits.We have had a good entry for the large farms over 100 hectares and the winner will be announced at the Monmouthshire Show on August 25

RURAL CRAFT EXPERIENCES
We organise drystone walling,basket weaving, hedgelaying and other courses throughout 2009

Stone walling courses with Chris Hodges are held at regular intervals ( see him as filmed by Mon TV )

ARTS in the WYE
The Wye Valley has a thriving artistic community and has a unique arts heritage as the area where the Picturesque movement originated

www.forest-bigartweb.net is an artists led project represents creative people within the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. It also produces The Forest & Wye Big Art Guide

Art in the Cafe, Brockweir Village Shop

Paintings and photographs by local artists at the Brockweir community-run Village Shop. A good stop off point for a cup of tea or lunch on walks in the St Briavels, Brockweir and Hewelsfield areas.
